New Spring Cocktail Menu At Bartolo
To welcome in the warmer nights and longer days, Bartolo has released its fourth (and best ever) seasonal cocktail menu. With each unique blend, you can expect a taste of spring as this menu is seasonal and fresh. Look out for “Flowers”, a sweet, bright and floral highball in full bloom. “Take a Break” is a dry cocktail with fresh strawberries that will wash away all your manic Monday stress. Other cocktails include “Apple Tree”, “White Clouds”, “Low Tide” and “Falling in Love”, so you get the idea, it’s everything we love about spring and cocktails together.
When: Available from Sunday 15 September
Where: Bartolo, Surry Hills
If it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month or even your year, fear not – we know the perfect cure to your mid-week melancholy. Friends is one of those shows where, if you’ve got a TV and a pulse, you’re sure to be able to reference it backwards, forwards, upside-down. The Moorebank Hotel is offering up the perfect opportunity to flex your Friends knowledge with their Friends Trivia Night. In addition to the trivia, they’ll be slinging chicken schnitzel, steak and fish and chips for an extraordinarily reasonable $12.
When: Tuesday 24 September, 7pm
Where: The Moorebank Hotel, Moorebank
Speed: The Movie, The Play
In 2019, the world is more divided than ever but if there’s one thing we can all agree upon it’s that, Keanu Reeves is a god and must be protected at all costs. Sydney Fringe show, Speed: The Movie, The Play, worships at the altar of Keanu. Get ready to hurtle full speed down the highway of 90s nostalgia because a) the 90s were fab and b) you’re on a bomb-rigged bus that will explode if you slip below 50mph. This comedic homage has been killing all over Australia and it’s arrival in Sydney is much anticipated so, for the love of Keanu, don’t miss out.
