Labour day is upon us (that handy day-off which celebrates the eight-hour working day)and you bet we’re going to take advantage of it in the best way we can. That basically means lots of eating and drinking and NOT finding out at the last minute that our favourite brunch joint is actually closed

Head on underground to The Doss House to choose from their 150 varieties of whisky, or cocktails if you’d prefer. Open this Saturday to Monday until late.
The Tilbury Hotel

The Tilbury is our go-to for a waterfront restaurant and bar. Opened all long weekend from Saturday to Monday, with a special authentic English roast this Sunday from 11am.
Maybe Frank

This long weekend we’re feeling the need for pizzas (well, when are we not?) at Maybe Frank, you’ve gotta grab a wine or cocktail with your Margherita pizza. They’ll be opened this Saturday and Sunday until midnight.
Bar Patrón

Ladies, grab your besties and head to Bar Patrón for an authentic Mexican lunch with Margaritas and bottomless champers. Happening this Saturday and Sunday between 12pm and 3pm from $65 per person.
