Calling all cider lovers, this one’s for you. A laneway cider orchard like no other is popping up in Sydney for six days only. The rustic, alfresco pop-up will showcase cider done three ways and if you just asked what that even means, let us enlighten you. Think specialty mulled cider from Treehouse, cider cocktails by Aaron Gaulke and cider-inspired/infused food by Michelin Star, French chef Raphael Squrek (that’s how). See you guys there, we’ll be the ones hogging all the food.

BATHURST WINTER FESTIVAL
Ditch work and head over to Bathurst for their annual Winter Festival. You’ll find interactive displays an enchanted forest and an epic winter playground (read: a giant ferris wheel and house of mirrors). AIDA AT SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE
Aida has always been known as a spectacular piece, telling the story of a royal love triangle spanning two nations at war. Director and choreographer Davide Livermore, will bring the production up a whole other level with the introduction of new digital technology. HONOUR THE BEING
‘Honour the Being’ is Sydney Road Galleries’ latest solo exhibition. The exhibit is a collection of animal portrait paintings by artist Jaimee Paul. With these very realistic and occasionally life-sized works (the Rhino is bloody huge), Jaimee aims to spread positive awareness of animals. If you love art and love animals, we’re thinking you should 110% go and check out the exhibit.

Sydney Water has organised a good old clean-up event this Saturday down at Parramatta River. We’re talking a square of cherry jam, coconut ice-cream and sponge encased in chocolate ganache sitting in a bed of coconut milk parfait shavings. Philadelphia’s best pizza, Pizzeria Beddia, is coming to Bondi for seven nights only which means you need to get here stat. Made entirely out of pizza boxes, the week-long pop-up will be slinging its pizza left, right and centre with sommelier James Hird coming into the mix to bring the perfect wine list to match the world famous pizza (sold yet?). FERNERY SUNDAY ROAST & ACOUSTIC SESSIONS
Like we needed more reason to head there. Sydney’s rooftop rosé bar added wood-fired, Sunday roasts to their menu and we couldn’t be happier. Every Sunday they serve a rotating menu of wood-fired goods alongside live music which is obvs the best way to top ya weekend.
