Head into Thievery for Middle-Eastern Inspired Yum Cha
For one month only, Thievery will be transformed into a Middle Eastern Yum Cha wonderland, taking you on a journey through both the Middle East and Asia. The Dim Sum menu offers a balance of both China and the Middle East, with dishes including Baba Ganoush Dumplings, Middle Eastern Salt & Pepper Bug Tails, Lamb Kafta Pancakes, Twice Cooked Ras El Hanout Duck with Carob, Ginger and Caramel, and Bastourma spiced Char Sui Lamb Cutlets. On the drinks front, expect a unique selection of tea cocktails, served in large teapots designed to share. Guests can opt for either the a la carte or set menu for $53 which includes a selection of 11 dishes during dinner sessions and brunch on Saturday. Eat a burger with a cause at Burger Project
Head into any Burger Project store across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane this month to eat a burger with a cause. For every Outback limited edition burger purchased, $1 will be donated to the National Indigenous Culinary Institute (NICI), an apprenticeship, mentoring and support program for aspiring Indigenous chefs. The Outback burger ($12.90) comes with a Cape Grim beef pattie, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, roasted, sliced and marinated beetroot and Burger Project’s secret sauce. These flavours are given a native boost with a generous drizzle of lemon myrtle mayonnaise. In addition, Black Label by Burger Project in Sydney will make an ongoing contribution to the Institute by donating $1 from every Native burger ($17) sold from Wednesday, 1 August.
