The Grounds of Alexandria’s ‘Bohemian Love Story’ event, Alexandria
Everyone in Sydney is familiar with the Grounds, but come February 14, the famous venue is transforming into a lover’s delight (if it wasn’t already). Their potting shed will be transformed into a romantic venue for candlelit dinners, from 5:15 until late.
$220 for two at the Grounds, 7A/2 Huntley Street, Alexandria. Book at The Grounds
A seafood meal at Altum, Milson’s Point
If you or your partner loves seafood, you should probably take a look at Altum‘s mouth-watering Valentine’s Day offerings. Located on The Deck at Milson’s Point, the couple’s menu will see you dining on oysters and wagyu steak, with all dishes made for sharing. Sounds about perfect.

Valentine’s Day rooftop experience at The Royal, Paddington
The Royal Hotel is a Paddington institution—as is their gorgeous rooftop, which overlooks the CBD skyline and Sydney Harbour. On February 14, The Royal is hosting a Valentine’s Day ‘Rooftop experience’, featuring barbecued seafood, dumplings, charcuterie, and plenty of Moët & Chandon.
At the Paddington Royal rooftop, 237 Glenmore Road, Paddington. Book at The Royal
NOLA at Barangaroo, Sydney
NOLA serves some of the best Louisianan fare in Sydney (think steaks, seafood and flawless French-inspired desserts and cocktails). On February 14, the restaurant will host a Valentine’s Day special event, serving the best dishes on their menu from their Sydney Harbour overlook.
$79pp at NOLA, Level 1, Cnr Barangaroo Ave &, Shipwright Walk, Barangaroo NSW 2000. Book at NOLA

‘Dancing On My Own’ at Oxford Art Factory
We’re expecting you probably haven’t made it this far into the article if you’re single, but if you have, you’ve struck gold. On Friday, February 15, Oxford Art Factory is hosting a club night for all the singles out there, named in honour of Robyn’s anthemic, tear-inducing ode to singledom. Get down to Kylie, Rihanna, Bowie and more, at this self-proclaimed ‘Anti-Valentine’s Disco’ (which, thankfully, isn’t on a weeknight).
Free entry at 38-46 Oxford St, Darlinghurst NSW 2010
